Secondly, we have Le Centre La Rochelle at 1 rue Chapel, where you can access the banks of the St. John River. It's the ideal place to observe the impressive gorge with its rocky shafts. Grand Falls is beautiful in all seasons, with an unrivalled selection of year-round activities, including wellness, cultural and sporting events.

In winter, you can skate on the indoor and outdoor rinks, slide down the Grand Tube, cross-country ski, fat bike, snowshoe scenic trails and explore the landscape by snowmobile.

Enjoy biking and walking on our nearly 5 km fully paved trail, which provides access to many of the municipality's points of interest. Explore picturesque hiking trails, visit downtown La Rochelle and descend to the shores of the St. John River. Discover 1.6 km of hiking trails along the gorge, with breathtaking views from various panoramic vantage points, zip-line over the falls and visit our historical museum.

In case of rain in Grand Falls, you can visit the Malabeam Center to admire the falls from the interpretation center, discover the historical museum or the Acanthus gallery, which sometimes offers workshops in which you can participate. The E. & P. Sénéchal center offers a beautiful indoor walking track and a fitness center. At Grand-Falls Brewing Co, you can participate in a beer tasting. You can also visit our public library to read books or participate in other activities. Mulligans HD Sports Center & Lounge offers a golf simulator and other indoor games and entertainment. Your day will be very pleasant despite the bad weather!

The best places to have a picnic is at the Malabeam Center or along our hiking trails. Grand Falls also has a marina where you can enjoy an excellent picnic on the banks of the St-John River.

The Potato Festival in Grand-Sault is our flagship event, attracting people of all ages with a variety of activities over four days, from June 28th to July 1st. To get good local products, don't miss the farmers' market on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., where you will find delicious vegetables, fruits, soaps, jewelry, food, treats and much more. We also have La Rochelle Center, which showcases crafts from local artists, as well as the Acanthus Art Gallery, where you will discover a multitude of art forms made by local artists

To rent boats and kayaks, you can visit the Back Alley Bike Shop, a cute little bike shop offering sales, service and rentals of electric bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Many visitors enjoy discovering Grand Falls by bike thanks to our beautiful bike path that runs along the river, offering a complete view of the region.
