Women's Day

Since March 1911, International Women's Day has been a day of action, awareness, and mobilization dedicated to the fight for women's rights, equality, and justice.

The Société culturelle régionale Les Chutes is taking this opportunity to celebrate women in all their facets.

Doors will open at 10:00 a.m. at the main entrance of the Richelieu Auditorium in Grand Falls, located at 215 Guimont Street.

Here is the schedule for the day for our 37th (unofficial) edition:

10:00 AM: Doors open - Arrival of participants

10:00 AM to 10:30 AM: Coffee and snacks

10:30 AM: Opening remarks

10:45 AM: Presentation with Josée Rioux-Walker (cafeteria)

11:45 AM: Break, bar opens (cash only), and lunch

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: Soup and sandwich buffet

1:00 PM: Door prizes and booths

1:30 PM: "Do Your Own Thing" show with Nadyne Bédar
